After 6 months of playing with extreme hours, an Overwatch player has finally managed to reach the “maximum” level. Here’s how he did it.
Overwatch has a kind of maximum level and it is achievable. A Chinese account accomplished this some time ago, but that account was shared by several players. This allowed the account to invest an unbelievable number of hours into the game and level up quickly. Now, however, an individual player has reached the maximum level without any tricks.
Through “PVP Live,” the French player TaZzaeRK has managed to reach level 1800. This is the highest level for which Blizzard has actually designed content, making many consider it the “maximum.” He could only achieve this through six months of non-stop gaming and 16-17 hours of playtime per day. TaZzaeRK is unemployed and dedicates all his free time to Overwatch.

He reached level 1700 a few weeks ago. For comparison, the second highest level in the EU/US/KR region is currently 1,667. When he was close to the maximum, TaZzaeRK fully dedicated himself to Overwatch in order to quickly play through the last 100 levels. According to him, he has invested about 1,700 hours into the game thus far.
Given the number of hours, it should come as no surprise that he has unlocked nearly everything in Overwatch. He is still missing the Sombra achievements, but she has only recently been added to the game.

There’s no denying that TaZzaeRK has shown a lot of dedication. He not only plays often and for long periods, but also has decent statistics – as you can see in the image above. Perhaps he should sign up for the upcoming Overwatch League, so he can earn money with his passion.
What do you think of this achievement? Impressive or a total waste of time?
