Overwatch is getting a new hero, and it’s none other than the most talented StarCraft 2 player in the world.
Less Gaming, More Saving People
Blizzard has teased a new character for Overwatch in quite an amusing way. Although there is not much information yet about D.Va, there are some clues. She hails from South Korea and is, in the lore of Overwatch, at the youthful age of 16 the best StarCraft 2 player in the world and popular among fans around the globe. However, she has recently put her gaming career on hold to protect her homeland instead – what this entails remains to be seen.
How do we have this information? Blizzard has created a profile for the lady for the StarCraft 2 World Championship and highlighted her on Twitter.
So far, there are no concrete hints about D.Va or her abilities on the official Overwatch site or in the game data, but it is expected that we will receive new information at BlizzCon next weekend. Her profile states that she has no preferred species in SC2, but it will be Zerg. Of course, it will be Zerg. Trust me!
