Symmetra’s rework is now available on the Overwatch test server and it is pure hell. Players are abusing Symmetra’s new abilities and breaking the game with her shields.
Players have been looking forward to a rework of Symmetra for a long time. Now she is playable on the test server and causing massive problems. Symmetra now has 2 ultimates to choose from: Teleporter and Shield Generator. The Shield Generator places a device that grants all allies within its range extra shield energy, regardless of barriers, walls, or other obstacles.
Players have been using these new abilities to have multiple Symmetras in a game send as many shields as possible flying into the air. Until the shields bump into something and stop disappearing at all. It looks like a work of art and is very cool!

This modern form of Symmetra shield art, however, has its price. The shields create terrible noises, unbearable lags, and they completely crash the servers. These game wreckers are not the only dubious thing about Symmetra’s new talents. Reaper can now surf in the air with Symmetra’s help and his teleportation ability! This can be observed in “Aigeys” video.
Do yourself a favor and watch until the 1:16 mark! From there, it gets really majestic.
Leya says: Luckily, there are test servers where many creative minds can figure out how to abuse new hero traits. If Blizzard tweaks some of the finer points, Symmetra will become a strong support who can even block D.Va ultis. I will, however, miss the surfing Reaper. Fly while you can, young eagle.
