The anniversary of Overwatch is in full swing – bringing some buffs and nerfs with it. We have the patch notes for 1.11 and 2.13 for you.
Since yesterday (05.23.2017) the Anniversary Event of Overwatch is live. This brought the Overwatch Patch 1.11 (on PS4 2.13) along with some changes to the existing heroes. While Genji, Hanzo, and Reaper received some buffs, things look rather bleak for Reinhardt and Soldier: 76.
The patch notes for Overwatch 1.11/2.13
Here are the details of the patch notes.
Genji
- The delay after climbing a wall has been removed, allowing Genji to attack immediately once the climbing is finished.
Hanzo
- The delay after climbing a wall has been removed, allowing Hanzo to attack immediately once the climbing is finished.
- Storm Bow
Orisa
- The damage of the Fusion Cannon has been reduced by 9%.
- The cooldown of the Protective Barrier has been reduced from 12 seconds to 8 seconds.
Reaper
- At the end of the Phantom ability, Reaper’s weapons are automatically fully reloaded.
Reinhardt
- The height of the effect of Earth Shatter has been reduced from 3 meters to 2 meters.
- Earth Shatter now only climbs levels that are a maximum of 2 meters high.

Soldier: 76
- The damage of the Heavy Pulse Rifle has been reduced from 20 to 19.
Additionally, there are some improvements to the game’s kill feed. If you eliminate an opponent with help – for example, from Zenyatta’s Orb of Discord or McCree’s Flashbang – this will now also be shown in the feed. Resurrections by Mercy are now also found in the kill feed, providing more overview for both teams.
What do you think of the changes? Or did you miss them in the hustle and bustle of the event?
