In Overwatch , it has been stated how the current beta will differ from the launch version.
Most betas recently show only a fraction of what the finished game will later bring. However, this is not the case with Overwatch: 21 heroes, 12 maps, and four game modes. These are available now and will also be available at launch. As Jeff Kaplan says: “The version you are playing now will be the one that goes live on launch day – except for some bug fixes.”
The “Ranked mode” was active in an earlier beta , but not now and it will still be missing at launch.
Blizzard promises a lot of features and game content after launch
Kaplan promises: “We are working on a LOT of features and game content that will be added after launch. It will be a pretty exciting summer.”
The Open Beta for Overwatch is still running on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 until Monday evening. The launch is on May 24.
