Blizzard has released clear statistics on the Omnic Uprising from Overwatch . And it doesn’t look good for the players.
The last major event of Overwatch was the “Uprising,” which ended about a week ago. Besides the usual fluff in the form of loot boxes containing special skins, voice lines, and emotes, there was also a PvE mode this time. Here, players could prove how well they fared against the Omnics that held London in their grip. With a total of 4 different difficulty levels and two game modes (one “classic” and one with free hero selection), the mode was actively played.
Blizzard has now published the statistics for the mode, and it casts a poor light on Overwatch. According to this, the Omnics won significantly more often than the agents of Overwatch.
On normal difficulty, 3/4 of the matches against the robot army were still won, but the probability decreased drastically at higher levels.
Less than 1% managed the “legendary” difficulty
The hardest mode “legendary” was particularly harsh. Here, only 0.6% of all matches could be won.
In the mode with free hero selection, players likely thought that you must fight fire with fire, and they especially often resorted to Omnics: Orisa and Bastion. However, they were not granted a much higher win rate with that either.
Also interesting: More than 815 million loot boxes were earned by players during the event – and certainly many more sold. The skin most frequently acquired with credits was “Blackwatch Genji,” followed by new skins for McCree, Mercy, and Reinhardt.
