Today marks the beginning of the Open Beta for the online shooter Defiance 2050 on PC. We have gathered some information for you about the launch.
The Open Beta Starts
The start of the Open Beta. The Open Beta of the shooter starts today at 7 PM on PC.
This is how long the beta lasts. The testing phase will run until June 25.
The contents of the testing phase. With the Open Beta, you can test a variety of new gameplay elements:

- Weapon upgrades
- The progression system
How to start your download and participate in the Defiance 2050 beta
This is how you participate. You can download the beta client starting today via Glyph or Steam.
What about PS4 and Xbox One? The Open Beta only takes place for the PC version of Defiance 2050.
This is the PC you need. Trion Worlds explains which minimum requirements your PC must meet to run the beta smoothly:
- Operating System: Windows 7 or newer
- Processor: Dual Core 2.0 GHz or better
- RAM: 4 GB RAM
- Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 650, ATI/AMD Radeon 7770 or better
- DirectX: Version 11
- Network: Broadband Internet connection
- Storage Space: 17 GB available storage space
- Sound Card: DirectX 8.1 compatible card
When is the release? The official release of the online shooter Defiance 2050 will take place on July 10 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. The headstart is on July 6. However, you need to purchase a Founder’s Pack to participate.
