After the Sauercrowd event in WoW was a great success in Germany, the original should soon provide new moments with its third season. Now, the big cancellation of the streamers follows.
What is OnlyFangs? OnlyFangs is a streamer project in World of Warcraft that has already been very popular with viewers in 2 seasons. So far, WoW Classic Vanilla has been played in hardcore mode with some special rules:
- There is permadeath for characters: If you die, you start over
- Only streamers and content creators are allowed to participate
- Progress is structured and organized as a group
- There are clearly defined goals
- Exploiting loopholes or exploits is not tolerated
The German counterpart Sauercrowd is also based on the same concept and successfully concluded in February 2026. Planning for the third season of OnlyFangs was already underway, but now the cancellation follows.

OnlyFangs 3 is cancelled
What about the third season? Although fans and content creators were looking forward to the upcoming season in WoW The Burning Crusade, the cancellation now follows. In a clip, Twitch streamer Sardaco reads the official statement from OnlyFangs founder Sodapoppin.
It states that there will be no OnlyFangs 3 for the current The Burning Crusade. They want to postpone the event indefinitely and not force it. According to the statement, the hardcore mode of WoW TBC is not feasible for new WoW players and would only appeal to “sweaty players”.
The challenges of the expansion are much harder than those of previous events, making the challenge even greater.
However, since Sodapoppin does not want a small event, he prefers to skip the current add-on and wait to see what Classic+ has to offer. If the participants want to manage an event independently, he would not stop them, but would not participate either.
For the founder, it is clear: OnlyFangs 3 must be big and diverse and should not consist only of international top WoW streamers.

When can we expect the new season? While OnlyFangs 3 is currently cancelled, as the founder explains in the statement, the next season could come with Classic+. However, Classic+ or a new Season of Discovery has not yet been announced by Blizzard. However, an update on upcoming Classic content is expected later this year.
So, it may be that the new season starts later in the year or even in 2027. Perhaps there might even be a collaboration with Sauercrowd, which would certainly interest some fans.

At the same time, it is important for the organizer to enable a good and large event with many streamers and not to create a bad atmosphere with a too difficult WoW.
