Before the end of this month, the online shooter Fragmented is expected to launch as an Early Access game on Steam.
The developers cannot currently provide an exact date, but they are working hard to offer fans something playable soon. Those who supported the MMORPG The Repopulation, meaning backers, have already received invitations. However, these players are still subject to an NDA; this will be lifted soon so that they can talk publicly about their gameplay experiences.
The development continues
The developers have also released a very extensive update for this pre-Early Access version last month. This improves various aspects including AI, animations, the combat system, and graphics. You can view the extensive patch notes with over 10,000 words on the official website.
Joshua Halls, founder of Above and Beyond Technologies, explains: “We have taken care of many items on our checklist to prepare the game for Early Access release. This includes improvements across the entire game as well as the development of core systems and the incorporation of familiar graphics from The Repopulation – but of course also new graphics specifically created for Fragmented.”
Based on Fragmented, they are now further developing the MMORPG The Repopulation. It is definitely set to be released, although at a significantly later date than originally planned before the engine switch. Until then, players can pass the time with Fragmented when the Early Access starts at the end of the month.
