Do you remember Miss Kaya? She appeared in the first episodes of the anime and was also seen in the series on Netflix. She was the one who gave the Straw Hat Pirates their first real ship in One Piece. Now she is making an appearance again, and we see what the last years have done to her.

How is Miss Kaya doing? When Luffy first met Usopp, Miss Kaya appeared weak and sick because of her condition. She was often in bed or wore a nightgown when she wandered around. Usopp was the only person who could cheer her up with his tall tales, which is why a deep friendship developed between the two.
In the current chapter of One Piece, there is now a recent picture of Miss Kaya. Together with Usopp’s pirate crew, she listens to the broadcast that Dr. Vegapunk has started worldwide.
And it seems that she is doing great now. Miss Kaya looks much healthier and no longer wears her pale nightgown but a stylish outfit. Her hair appears fuller than at the beginning of One Piece, and she is smiling at Carrot, Pepper, and Onion.

What has Miss Kaya been doing since Usopp’s departure? Miss Kaya mentions that Dr. Vegapunk is a legend in the field of medicine. She is very interested in that because she has started studying medicine herself.
Miss Kaya seems to have taken her sickly phase as a reason to want to help others. Therefore, she decided to become a doctor. During the Fishman Island arc, there was already a picture of her in the manga (via One Piece Wiki) where she was pondering over her books.
Miss Kaya’s recovery makes her an even more beautiful person. In the picture, it can be seen how Lamb is fending off some love-struck admirers. Usopp shouldn’t take too much time if he wants to win Miss Kaya over.

In a later picture from One Piece Wiki, which was shown during the events on Whole Cake Island, Miss Kaya is seen with a black briefcase and longer hair. She was happily celebrating with Usopp’s pirate crew that their leader had received a high bounty.
Miss Kaya has, therefore, recovered from the hardships with her butler, who had once tried to murder the young lady. However, the plan backfired. Luffy, Usopp, and the others were able to prevent the murder attempt.
In the same chapter, a picture of Caesar Crown and Sanji’s father can be seen. The two are shocked that Dr. Vegapunk is dying. After all, they had started a competing company:
