How to get the lantern in Elden Ring
You can get the lantern from the nomadic merchant in Liurnia of the Lakes. You reach the area after defeating the boss Godrick.
Go to the “Liurnia Lake Shore” area by the lake and look for the merchant. The lantern will cost you 1,800 runes, which you should have plenty of at that point – unless you make an absolutely stupid beginner’s mistake.
