All fans of Granblue Fantasy Relink can rejoice! Later this week, the popular action RPG for PlayStation and Steam will receive a new, epic endgame challenge.
What has been announced for Granblue Fantasy Relink? The action RPG from Cygames that will be released in February 2024 for PlayStation and Steam regularly gets new content. The developers have now presented the planned content for the coming months on the official website.
Here is an overview of the free content that is set to be released from March to May 2024:
- March 14, 2024: New quest “The Final Vision”
- April 2024: The new playable characters Seofon and Tweyen
- May 2024: The new playable character Sandalphon
To unlock the fighters, you need to complete the associated challenges in Granblue Fantasy Relink (which are still unknown). Alternatively, you can also directly purchase the heroes.
What is behind the new quest? As part of the 10th anniversary of the Granblue Fantasy franchise, the developers at Cygames have apparently designed a particularly epic boss fight for Relink, which would also fit well in any MMORPG. At least, that is our impression after watching this video teaser:
It is clear that during the quest you will fight alongside the Supreme Primarch Sandalphon against the “ultimate enemy Lucilius.” To unlock the challenge, you need to have reached a new story segment in the region Seedhollow.
What kind of game is Granblue Fantasy Relink? The role-playing game takes you into the sky world, which consists of countless floating islands. You are the captain of a skycrew and will be accompanied by the little dragon Vyrn and a young girl with mysterious powers.
You have the choice of whether to tackle the real-time battles with three NPC allies from your crew or with up to three other players. The toughest challenges await you after completing the story campaign, in the extensive endgame.
