What kind of charitable action is this? Shroud started a new event on Twitch on January 5, which he calls the “Fragathon”. For every elimination he achieves in a shooter during the streams in January, he donates money. The dollar-per-kill multiplier can be increased through Twitch subs and donations.
As early as January 6, the second day of the event, the donation account was around 50,000 euros. At that time, the dollar-per-kill multiplier increased to 5x.
Meanwhile, shroud’s donation account is about 83,000 US dollars, which is almost 80,000 euros (as of January 7, 2025, 11:00 AM). The kill counter in shroud’s stream shows about 11,900 eliminations.
Since January still has a few days left and shroud wants to stream every day, the amount in the donation account is expected to rise significantly.
What is the money being donated for? Shroud mentioned in the announcement video of the event that he lost his father to lung cancer in 2023 and he wants to support people in similar situations with the money.
