One of the top players in the MMORPG ArcheAge Unchained seems to have been banned out of the blue. Subsequently, he even deleted his Reddit account. The community is wondering what is going on.
What happened in ArcheAge? A list of the best European players of the Unchained version appeared on Reddit. The account Dethroned stood out in particular. This player possesses items, of which the armor alone must have cost more than 2,000 euros.
An unusual situation
Why is this strange? The Unchained version of ArcheAge has been running since October 2019. So for almost half a year. He would need to farm an enormous amount of gold to afford such a valuable gear in this time. Since it’s actually not possible on the Unchained server to buy weapons and armor for money, the question arises how he could obtain so much gold.
This is how it went on: After the image was published on Reddit, Dethroned was banned. The player then briefly responded and denied the allegations of cheating. He explained that he had acquired the gold together with many friends. Curiously, he shortly thereafter deleted his Reddit account and with it his message. Since then, nothing has been heard from the player.
So the community is now speculating: The ArcheAge players find it very strange that Dethroned has not responded and deleted his Reddit account. Therefore, many speculations are arising. These range from illegal multi-accounting to buying gold from gold farmers.

Whether the affected player will comment again is doubtful. Whether he really cheated can also not be said with certainty. However, there seems to be at least some suspicion or Gamigo may have legitimate evidence that justifies a ban. After all, there are repeatedly bans that players even celebrate.
