The PlayStation 5 has received its own section on the Sony website today. Is this the next step towards the release?
This is what the website contains: The website is a dedicated PS5 section on the UK Sony homepage. There isn’t much to it: Besides the already known logo, you are greeted with the text: “PlayStation 5 is coming. Launches holiday 2020”.
Aside from the already known information that the PS5 will be released at the end of the year, there isn’t much new here. After this, you will find only another paragraph:

Does the website hint at an upcoming reveal? There is still no official information on when the PS5 will be officially unveiled. However, the activated website can be seen as the next milestone on the way there.

The technology of the PS4 was presented back then based on a demo in late February 2013 and was ultimately unveiled at E3 in June. It is possible that in February 2020, the next step towards the PS5 will be taken.
What is certain, however, is that the presentation this year will not take place again at E3:
