What is Split Fiction about? You play two aspiring writers named Mio and Zoe, who get the chance to sell their latest stories to a large tech company. This company owns a machine that teleports the writers into a sort of digital simulation of their own stories.
However, the writers are trapped in their stories. Your goal is to escape the simulation and return to reality. But to do this, you must overcome various challenges that require different skills from you.
The biggest feature of Split Fiction is the game world and the changing setting. This depends on whether you are currently in Mio’s story or Zoe’s story. One of the writers has written a sci-fi story, while the other has created a fantasy world.
Split Fiction aims to build on the success of It Takes Two. The co-op title was able to convince many players in 2021 because it offered a lot of variety in gameplay. You regularly get new toys to help you battle through the various levels.
