On July 16, 2025, Patch 1.01.5 for Elden Ring: Nightreign will be released. You can find out when the servers will be down, when you can play again, and the patch notes here.
What happens during the server downtime? The servers will be shut down so that the new update can be applied to the servers. During this time, you can only play Nightreign offline and solo. To play online again, you will need to have downloaded the new update – however, it is not yet available.
Server downtime in Nightreign – when? The servers will be shut down on July 16, 2025, at 10:00 CEST (17:00 JST, 01:00 PDT) on all platforms.
When can I play Nightreign again? According to a post on X.com, the maintenance and implementation of the patch will take around 1 hour. We will inform you as soon as the servers are available again.

What is in the patch notes? The maintenance hasn’t started yet. Therefore, we still do not know what exactly will change. If information becomes available that provides further details about the possible contents, we will update this part of the overview for you.
Based on our experience, we suspect, however, that the patch notes will be released as soon as the server downtime is over. You won’t have to wait long to find out what is set to change. Since it is a small patch, we assume that FromSoftware will only make balance changes.
In the future, Nightreign is also expected to receive additional content such as a major DLC. This will likely bring new bosses and characters for a fresh experience.
