New announcements are generally always exciting. When it’s about a science fiction game – even better. And when this science fiction work is also set in the Star Trek universe, then YEAH!
Currently, science fiction games are enjoying great popularity. Whether it’s Destiny, Star Citizen, Elite: Dangerous, StarCraft, and all the others. But even in the MMO sector, one finds Defiance, SWTOR, Planetside 2, Star Trek Online, EVE Online and others at the forefront of the list of popular works.
So it is no wonder that another company is jumping on the popular science fiction bandwagon and announcing a new sci-fi MMO.

As the headline already reveals, despite the official announcement, there seems to be no name for the new game yet. So let’s just affectionately call it Star Trek MMO, which comes from NGames and will be equipped with a free-to-play system.
In the new Star Trek MMO, you will venture into fluid space, where the United Federation of Planets and the Klingons are holding their well-known battle. Naturally typical for an MMO, it’s your task to firstly decide for one of the two sides and secondly to participate in the battles.
To do this, you will partially explore your surroundings, build stations in space, and enhance your valuable treasures in the form of ships with technological gadgets.

Since there isn’t even a name set for the new Star Trek MMO that NGames wants to bring to the market, one cannot even talk about a possible release date yet.
