The MMO New World from Amazon Studios takes place in the 17th century, the age of discovery, on the fictional, mysterious island of Aeternum. This island is located in the middle of the Atlantic. New World was transformed during development from a survival game to an open-world MMO. In the huge game world, mass battles in PvP as well as PvE and also mystery and horror elements play a role. The vast world is rounded off with rich lore and extensive housing. The release via Steam and Amazon took place on September 28, 2021.
