Dragon Age Dreadwolf, the fourth installment of the popular role-playing series, promises players in a new trailer not only almost unknown areas but also new information in summer 2024.
What is it about? Dragon Age 4 has kept fans waiting for new information for a long time. Now, the role-playing game presents initial impressions of the new areas in a new trailer and gives an initial timeframe in which fans can expect more.
In summer 2024, Dragon Age Dreadwolf is set to be fully revealed. However, what exactly this means and how far away a release is still remains unclear.

What does the trailer show? Gameplay is still not shown in the latest trailer for Dragon Age Dreadwolf. Instead, it primarily makes fans of the series very happy with other insights.
The trailer showcases three areas of the continent Thedas, which makes up a large part of the Dragon Age world:
- The nation Antiva, with the port city Treviso
- The peninsula Rivain
- The kingdom of Anderfels, with the headquarters Weisshaupt
These will not only be shown on the world map of Thedas, but the trailer will also provide an initial glimpse into the design of these areas. It seems likely that the journey in the fourth installment of Dragon Age will at least lead to these three locations.
The graphical impressions of the areas are accompanied by a few spoken words.
For example, that Antiva is dominated by the Crows
, who fight for everyone and will always do so. Or, that the Grey Wardens
from Weisshaupt will not hide in their castle.
In Dragon Age 4, a significant challenge may lie ahead, with many groups possibly fighting against each other or side by side.
At the end of the trailer, there is a rather ominous announcement. It states that soon the whole world will be at peace under the rule of an unknown entity.
However, it is unclear who exactly this announcement comes from. If it originates from the ‘Dreadwolf’ itself, it would mean a new voice actor for the character from the previous installment. As there are no further details about this yet, it can only be speculated.
What are the reactions? Although there is not much to see in the trailer itself, the reactions in the comments (via YouTube) are incredibly positive and enthusiastic. Especially fans are excited about the few small pieces of information and glimpses that the trailer has brought:
