In the new MMO Path of Titans, you don’t fight dinosaurs, but instead become a prehistoric lizard. The beta for the MMO starts next week.
In games like ARK: Survival Evolved, you breed large dinosaurs, make them your mounts, and fight opponents with massive constructs. But the game “Path of Titans” turns this principle on its head.
Instead of breeding dinosaurs, you take on the role of one of these giants and must take care of food and other needs.
And you are not alone in this. 200 other players share the same interests as you, namely surviving in the prehistoric wilderness. You can team up or travel the world as a lone wolf.

What exactly do you play? The developers aim to make life as a dinosaur in their game feel particularly realistic. You take on the role of herbivores or carnivores, each with its own characteristics and abilities. Instead of taking care of dinosaurs like in Jurassic Park, you are one of them.
The manufacturers have already explained on their website which features you can find in the game:
- Extensive multiplayer mode

- Quests and events
- Attributes and skills
- Swimming, diving, and fishing
- Modding
Many users may find the active mod support from the developers exciting. The team at Alderon Games aims to provide tools freely, so you can build your very own dino adventure.
In addition, there is extensive support for various platforms. You can take care of your dinosaur on your PC, Xbox, PS4/PS5, or mobile device so it doesn’t starve or get eaten by its peers.
When can you try the game? The team at Alderon Games has announced that the closed beta will start on July 27, 2022, on PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and mobile devices. Anyone who purchases the game from the official shop for around 30 euros will then have access to the beta and the game once it officially launches.
