The survival MMO “Undawn” turns Will Smith into a legendary survivor. Fans thought he was in a new movie based on the related trailer.

- Undawn (Steam, Mobile) is a survival MMO that takes place in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by zombies.
- As one of the last survivors, you join the so-called “Raven Squad” and fight against zombies as well as other players in the open game world.
- To ensure your survival, you gather weapons and supplies. You must try not to starve or thirst, and keep an eye on your character’s mood.
- There are also vehicles that you can find in the open world and use for movement.
Undawn is being developed by Lightspeed & Quantum Studios. The release of the survival MMO is scheduled for June 15, 2023 (via Steam).
Will Smith and His Annoying Neighbors
What does the new trailer show? The new trailer for Undawn has appeared on Will Smith’s official YouTube channel and shows what role the actor will take on in the game.
The trailer begins as a kind of promotional video for a vacation paradise, where Will Smith tries to sell you a hotel room. We see a sandy beach with a beautiful sea view, people enjoying champagne in a pool, and a man and woman exploring the wilderness of the place.
Meanwhile, Will Smith is seen reading books in a tent, fishing, and raving about powerful vehicles. We see an old Ford Mustang and a motorcycle – but then the actor finally reveals what awaits us in the world of Undawn: annoying neighbors.
The look of a live-action film transforms into the game’s graphics and we see these annoying undead neighbors nibbling on tourists. Ultimately, Will Smith makes an entrance swinging a baseball bat and declares war on the zombies together with his heavily armed team, the “Raven Squad.”

What are the reactions? On YouTube, there are some users who found the trailer quite good. In a comment with almost 200 “likes,” one user even said that he thought it was a movie and not a game. Generally, the collaboration seems to be well received by some fans.
