Soon there will be a new supply for survival fans. A new game is coming to Steam that might be interesting for fans of the genre, especially for fans of Zelda and Animal Crossing.
What game is it about? We are talking about Towers of Aghasba, a title from Dreamlit Inc. It is the first game of the studio founded in 2020 and is among the most exciting survival titles of 2024.
In Towers of Aghasba, you explore a vast open world, the namesake island Aghasba. The goal is to rebuild the villages and towns and help the ecosystem to bloom anew.
And you won’t be doing this alone: Together with other players, you can explore the world, help each other, and gradually ensure that the once flourishing flora and fauna shines again.
Gliding through the skies
What does the game offer? In the trailer and in the newly released gameplay showcase on YouTube, you see the character gliding through the air on a glider. It is a practical means to explore the large game world and reminds one of The Legend of Zelda.
When it comes to restoring the ecosystem along with dinosaurs and other creatures, the developers offer you several options. There are three types of the aforementioned ecosystems, as well as three types of cities that you can build.
Additionally, more than 40 creatures can be unlocked, and over 120 plants can be cultivated – a nod to Animal Crossing. There will also be smaller activities like fishing, as well as battles. You will encounter enemies, for example, in the ruins of the game world.
When will the game be released? Towers of Aghasba was announced in 2023 as part of a PlayStation showcase, and the title will be playable in November.
The developers have set the early access release for November 19. Interested players can purchase Towers of Aghasba for the price of €29.99. Over time, more features will be added.
