Patch 8.2 Azshara’s Rise is live and the riddle community of World of Warcraft is already working at full speed again. It took just a few hours for the riddle of the first hidden mount to be solved. The solution for the mount Fabious is relatively simple, but only if you know it. The peculiar seahorse is quite vain and really wants to be in a photo!
Where can you find Fabious? Fabious spawns very far to the west of Nazjatar. You can find the exact location in the screenshot below. He circles around there for a while before “swimming out of the map”. Then he disappears and his respawn timer begins.
What do you have to do? To get Fabious as a mount, you don’t have to kill him, but you have to “capture” him in a very special way: you need to take a selfie with him! For this, you need to use your camera (a toy) and position yourself so that Fabious swims through the background of the picture. You can get the camera either from Warlords of Draenor or from a quest chain in your capital city.
If you take a photo now, you will receive the mount directly in your inventory! However, note that you must not have attacked Fabious. He cannot take damage, but if you have drawn aggro from him, then it will not work.
Fabious has a long respawn time: The problem is, however, that Fabious has a long respawn time. He only appears every two to eight hours. Then he doesn’t stay long, but swims along his path once and disappears at the end. Players only have a few minutes to snap a photo with him. Those who do not want to camp for hours will probably have to time it right by luck.
