The developers of Loftia have raised almost $1.3 million on Kickstarter, soon the cozy MMO will go into Early Access.

What makes the game special? Loftia is a cozy MMO with life sim elements. You enter a game world without combat, where the focus is on building a life above the clouds. You farm, craft, decorate, and explore. You can do all of this either alone or with friends.
You take on small jobs, such as a server in a café, employee in a floristry, or as a hairdresser. There, you will be able to complete mini-games. You can also adopt a cute companion and take them on your journeys. Alternatively, you can organize with other players in guilds, which are called Loftia Clubs.
The game completely avoids a combat system, but there will be dungeons and raids. These are content for 3 to 10 players, where you must tackle instanced challenges. As examples, the developers mention It Takes Two, Fall Guys, and the shrines from The Legend of Zelda.
The developers also describe Loftia as the perfect game for couples or friends who live far apart. Because everything should be doable in co-op, even for decorating your own house, you can invite a partner who gets the same rights.
