New MMORPG Throne and Liberty lets first players create their characters – Here’s what the editor looks like

On December 7, Throne and Liberty will be launched in Korea. The game has now released the character editor and initial players can create their desired avatars. Unfortunately, this does not apply to international players.

What does the character editor look like? The character editor is already available in English or with English subtitles for the upcoming release in South Korea. At the beginning, you choose your server and the intro cutscene plays.

To build your character, you first decide on a female or male avatar. Before you get into the details, you choose a character base from a variety of presets that you like.

Once you have chosen a preset, you can customize your character in detail. Throne and Liberty relies heavily on sliders, allowing for a high degree of individuality. However, the game clearly dictates colors. In addition to many different facial parts, the game also allows you to edit individual muscle strands on your avatar’s body.

Can players in Europe already create their characters? As of now, this is unfortunately not possible through official means. To create an account for Throne and Liberty, you must be in Korea.

This can potentially be bypassed with a VPN service. However, it is quite possible that you could be penalized by the developer for using a VPN client. Therefore, you should be cautious and think carefully about using a VPN.

How can the editor be downloaded? The character editor has been available since November 21 on the Throne and Liberty website. Here are the required steps to unlock early access via PC:

1. Download the Purple launcher – you can find it here: ncpurple.com
2. Install Purple
3. Once the launcher is started, click on Store in the upper left corner, then Throne and Liberty and Install game
4. Start the game
5. Select a server
6. Choose your avatar’s gender
7. Enter your character’s name and confirm it

Characters can be created until December 3 and only by adults over 19 years of age. Per account, you can create one character per server and character names are unique on each server. To use the character created now, you must log in with the same account at launch.

When will the MMORPG be released? By the way, we do not have to wait much longer until the game officially celebrates its release in Europe.
