Tower of Fantasy is a new MMORPG that visually resembles the hit Genshin Impact and will also be released for PC and mobile. The global release has now been officially announced, and sign-ups for the beta have begun.

Tower of Fantasy will be free-to-play and is being developed in Unreal Engine 4. It features a gacha mechanic for weapons, similar to Genshin Impact.

The first beta for Tower of Fantasy starts in April
When is the game coming out? Tower of Fantasy was released in China at the end of 2021 and is expected to come to the West soon. There is no exact release date yet, but it is supposed to be released in 2022.
What about the beta? If you want to try the MMORPG in advance, you can now sign up for a closed beta. Sign-ups are only available from March 15 to March 28 via the official website (via Tower of Fantasy). To do this, you must fill out a small questionnaire in which the developers want to know how regularly you play games like WoW, FFXIV, New World, or Destiny 2.
The beta is supposed to take place in April and will only be released for the USA, Canada, the UK, and Germany.
Do I have another option for testing? Yes. The developers are also looking for testers for special localizations. These must also come only from the USA, Canada, the UK, or Germany.

How good is the game? The launch of Tower of Fantasy went rather shaky in China. In the local app TapTap, the MMORPG only gets 3.6 out of 5 stars. There are criticisms for the weak hit feedback and the gacha system. However, there is also praise for the story, the endgame content, and the dyeing system for equipment.
