Past Fate is currently in Early Access on Steam and is now inviting players to an open alpha weekend. Players can immerse themselves in the world of Edaria and Drosus. The development team at Icy North Games announces this exciting news with a trailer.
When does the alpha weekend take place? Interested players can log into the game from July 28 to July 31, 2023. There is no need to register in advance for the alpha phase or to purchase the game. Anyone who wants to try the game can really participate in the test phase.
All you need to participate is an account on Steam. Log in and find the title in the shop so you can start it for free. The development team hopes to receive a lot of feedback from the weekend and wants to test the current builds and optimizations implemented in the game with a new patch.

What’s behind Past Fate
Past Fate takes place in an open world with a medieval setting. There is a huge map that can be explored by players together or alone. There are different kingdoms that we can trade with.
Currently, five different classes are available for players to choose from:
- Warrior
- Necromancer
- Wizard
- Pirate
- Priest
An important game feature is sailing. Players can build their own ships and explore new islands at sea. There are plenty of treasures hidden throughout the world and on the islands.
Alternatively, naval battles can take place at sea. Hired archers, wizards, and gunners are ready for the fights.

Additionally, numerous enemies are waiting to be defeated by us. Ancient creatures hold rare treasures, but first, we must clear the monsters out of the way. If players don’t want to rely on teammates, they can hire mercenaries to assist them in battle.
There will be a day-and-night cycle. At night, dark magic will be amplified, and players using this magic can transform into a beast.
