What kind of game is this? World Seed has little in common with classic MMORPGs. At the start of the game, you give your character a name and then find yourself in a world of hexagons. Each hexagon presents a different challenge that you must master. The battles are completely automatic.
However, the further you move away from the start, the more difficult the game becomes. And you only have a single life in World Seed. If you fail in a battle, your character is gone forever.
To overcome the challenges, you need to equip your character and provide suitable skills. Crafting and tactics play an important role. The world of the MMORPG is procedurally generated and changes every hour.
Where are the multiplayer elements? You can initially progress in World Seed completely alone. If you get stuck at some point, you can invite friends into your world and solve the challenge together.

What has exactly happened now? World Seed existed for a while as an “Early Access” title on Steam and officially celebrated its full release on May 17, 2022. This was accompanied by an update that made adjustments to the user interface, instances, and loot.
Additionally, there will be no more wipes, which had previously occurred.
How much does the game cost? The MMORPG can initially be played for free in a sort of demo. If you are convinced by the game mechanics, you can pay 7.99 Euro to gain full access to all content.

Who is behind the game? World Seed is developed by Kortes, a single programmer. According to reviews, he is said to be very active in the game and takes the feedback to heart. It is quite possible that the MMORPG will be further developed by him in the long term.
