This weekend marks the first beta of the online shooter Defiance 2050 – but only on PC. The developers have now announced what you can expect.
While PS4 and Xbox One owners have to wait a bit longer for the beta of the online shooter, PC players can try out what the remake of Defiance has to offer this weekend.
When does the beta of Defiance 2050 start? When does it end?
The beta of Defiance 2050 starts today, April 20th, at 7:00 PM. It ends on Monday, April 23rd, at 7:00 PM.

The developers have now talked about what content the beta offers:
- Only by participating will you receive the title Beta Blazer
- You will explore Mt. Tam
- You will experience the Madera story mission zone
- Fight in the co-op instance “Liberate the Lost”
- You can reach Power Level 1500, Character Level 25, and Class Level 25
- Try the Assault class, which showcases the new class system with a customizable skill tree
- You will see the item system, through which you can adapt your equipment to your playstyle
- You will improve equipment through salvage
- You will choose from various defensive abilities
