Currently, a seasonal event is happening in Monster Hunter World. During the Full Bloom Fest, you can grab all sorts of rewards, including a funny weapon.
What kind of event is this? The Full Bloom Fest is a new seasonal event in Monster Hunter World. The gathering place in Seliana is decorated with colorful flowers. The NPCs wear matching rose outfits, and brand new quests await you.
As with events in Monster Hunter World, you can also collect event tickets and VIP tickets here to craft equipment.
The funniest weapon ever
What kind of weapon is this? The funniest reward of the Full Bloom Fest is the dual blades “Wet Fish Sabers”. They are somewhat living fish that you hit with.
They deal an attack of 322 at Rarity 11. Additionally, they grant you a whole 390% water damage.
How do you obtain them? To get your hands on the slippery blades, you must complete the quest “Sharp Fish Sharpens.” This takes you to the Wilds of the Tower, where you need to fish two large Wet Fish. For this, you need Master Rank 2 and therefore the Iceborne expansion.
However, this is not the only funny weapon you can currently obtain. With the quest “Meat, Meat, Meat” there is a hammer that looks like a meat chunk. This way, you can actually hit the monsters with their own parts.
The event offers even more
This seasonal armor is available: Additionally, you can farm a seasonal armor during the Full Bloom Fest. This time it comes with some roses. You craft it with Full Bloom Tickets, which you receive for logging in. There is also such armor for your Palico.
By completing event quests or helping other players with lower-ranked missions, you will receive VIP Bloom Tickets. With them, you can farm the Rose Decorative Armor.
You can earn more VIP tickets if you wear the normal rose armor. It has the skill “Bloom Blessing,” which increases your chance of obtaining the special tickets.
This decorative armor is also available: During the Full Bloom Fest, you can also conjure a cute fluffy chicken on your head. With the quest “Shockingly Heavy Emergency,” you can create a decoration head.
To do this, you need to catch 5 Ancient Mantises in the Coral Highlands at Master Rank 2. These are the large flying insects that hardly anyone knew you could catch at all.
To succeed, you need to shoot them down, for example, with a stone.

There is an upgrade for the mantle: In another event quest, you can upgrade your assassin mantle. The mission is called “The Assassin” and lets you defeat a hardened Nargacuga. For this, you need to have reached Master Rank 17.
If you haven’t obtained the mantle yet, you first need to complete the quest in high rank. It’s called “Stealthy, Deadly, and Wild” and gives you the mantle along with the Bayek Decorative Armor.
PS4, Xbox One, and PC finally on the same level
With the latest update, the consoles and PC are finally aligned. All platforms will now run synchronously regarding content.
To achieve this, PC players received the missing quests. Thus, the two variants Furious Rajang and Wrathful Brachydios have made their way to PC.
In May, all players in Monster Hunter World can look forward to the fan-favorite Alatreon. If you want to shorten the time until then, you should engage in some event quests.
In addition to the above almost all events are currently running in Monster Hunter World, as the developers seem to have sympathy for the quarantine victims.
