The latest update for GTA Online is now available. It introduces a new mode from the “Arena War Series” called Bomb Ball, which functions similarly to Rocket League.
How does Bomb Ball work? The rules of Bomb Ball are not complicated. Players get a selection of the usual 14 vehicles from Arena War, all of which have their strengths and weaknesses, and are unleashed onto a large playing field. Team sizes are 4vs4 and 8vs8.
The goal of Bomb Ball is to blow up the explosive balls either in the opposing team’s goals or on their half of the field. It works similarly to Rocket League, just without rockets. And with more explosions.
Until January 14, players in this mode will receive double GTA-$ and RP.
Is there anything else? The new mode is not the only update that GTA Online received today. Over the next few days, the following content will also be added:
- Only on December 25 (USA time) the Vapid Clique vehicle will be available for free for everyone.
- Until January 7, there will be double income for nightclubs.
- Grotti & Weeny T-shirts will be available for free until January 7.
- From December 25 to January 1, new Christmas-themed sweaters will be rewards for daily logins.
- On December 26, the new vehicle Grotti Itali GTO will also be released and will be exclusively available at Legendary Motorsport.
- Shop discounts on selected properties and vehicles.
