The latest update in Black Desert Online was released on February 14, 2024, and brought players changes to the PvP mode War of the Roses and the Guild League. Additionally, two Valentine’s Day events are taking place this month.
On February 14, 2024, there was a new patch in the MMORPG Black Desert. It included 80 updates and was 2.39 GB in size.
In addition to changes to the PvP content, the update brought numerous minor adjustments and two special events.

What the patch changed in PvP in Black Desert
There were adjustments for the two PvP contents War of the Roses and Guild League.
What did the patch change in the War of Roses? You now need a Gear Score of at least 700; previously, it was 680, to participate in the Third Legion of War of the Roses.
Additionally, there were:
- a reduction of the Sanctum passives when you conquer Sanctums
- adjustments to the durability of relics that spawn in neutral Sanctums
- adjustments for weapons and mounts
- increases in Guardian HP
- further tweaks to better balance the mode
What did the patch change in the Guild League? In the 15v15 Guild League, the matchmaking system was improved, making it more likely for top guilds to face other top guilds. This aims to reduce the occurrence of unbalanced matches.
This is also intended to make it easier for top guilds to fight their way to the top of the rankings and compete against similarly strong opponents.
Additionally, there are two events for Valentine’s Day. One is a screenshot competition, and the other is a Valentine’s Day adventure log.
In the latter, you must help the residents express their love by completing all the logs. Both events will run until February 28, 2024.
