Bandai Namco released not only a new trailer for the DLC of Elden Ring: Nightreign on the night of November 11 to 12, 2025, but also the release date. Fans are excited that they can play right during the coziest time.
When will the new DLC for Elden Ring: Nightreign be released? The Nightreign DLC, titled “The Forsaken Hollows,” was given an official release date along with a gameplay reveal trailer, namely December 4, 2025.
This means that fans of the Elden Ring spin-off don’t have to wait much longer, just a few weeks.
Players are very excited about the content shown in the trailer, but mainly that they will be able to defeat new bosses as the new Nightfarers this year (or at least try, of course).
Here you can see the aforementioned trailer, which reveals the new content of the DLC and the release date:
“Rejoice, ye Blighted… this Christmas will be well-fed”
What’s new in the DLC? With “The Forsaken Hollows,” 2 new Nightfarers, 2 new bosses, and a new Shifting Earth will appear in the game. On the PlayStation Blog, there is already some information about these news.
The new Nightfarers are the “Scholar” and the “Undertaker”.
The Scholar is an academic who primarily gains advantages through arcane abilities, while the Undertaker is an abbess who is efficient mainly through faith.

A new Shifting Earth will also be available to explore in the DLC. It is a large cave beneath Limveld with cursed crystals and ancient ruins that emanate a malevolent aura.
How are fans reacting to the news? In the comments under the official trailer on YouTube, many players are already expressing their joyful surprise at this announcement.
“YES, this is the kind of notification I want to receive at 1 AM,” writes @raedxxedition5632, and other fans are also expressing their joy:
- “It’s not even December yet, but it looks like Christmas has come early!” (@Mario-SunshineGalaxy63)
- “Rejoice, ye Blighted… this Christmas will be well-fed” (@Ballymeau)
- “I can just imagine three little Artorias in a group fighting against a huge Artorias. I just love this game” (@roflanmoments1093)
- “This seems to be another success of a FromSoft DLC, like all the others” (@Makoto-khan)
There aren’t many days left until December 4, about 3 weeks, until fans can try out the new DLC to fight familiar foes as new heroes.
