As part of the annual preview for 2024, Netflix presented a short first glimpse of the 2nd season of the South Korean hit series Squid Game, which is finally continuing after 3 years.
Squid Game was an absolute hit series upon its release in September 2021. The South Korean drama and thriller series by Hwang Dong-hyuk captivated Netflix viewers with its deadly games.
A few days ago, it was already announced to the shareholders that the 2nd season will be released this year.
Now Netflix has released a preview of the upcoming series and films of this year on YouTube – we also get a small glimpse of Squid Game here.

What can be seen in the clip? In the short clip, you see Seong Gi-hun, the main character of the first season, at the airport, while the typical music from Squid Game plays in the background.
His phone rings. After he answers, he is threatened that he will regret his decision. Seong Gi-hun responds in anger: “I will find you. No matter the cost.“

When will Season 2 of Squid Game be released? So far, it is only known that we can look forward to the continuation of the South Korean series this year.
However, Netflix has not yet commented on the exact date. Additionally, nothing further is currently known about the plot of Season 2.
