2017 is approaching rapidly, bringing a new year full of games, fun, and excitement. For us here at Mein-MMO, gaming is particularly important, whether on console, computer, or sometimes even the traditional board game. We will focus on the new releases of 2017 next year, but we will also remain loyal to the existing titles.
New games in the new year? These games we look forward to with confidence
The new year promises to be exciting in terms of new MMOs and MMORPGs. For some time now, developers have realized that it is time to increase diversity and move away from the World of Warcraft clones. Maybe one or two of these titles will tempt you to set aside your old games in the new year?
We can pretty much assume that Bless and Destiny 2 will be released in 2017.
Bless: A classic MMORPG from South Korea
Bless is a South Korean MMORPG that promises fantastic graphics and an incredible soundtrack. The story revolves around a conflict between two factions and is heavily reminiscent of European medieval times.
Destiny 2: The successor to the successful MMO shooter
Most of our readers are likely familiar with Destiny, as it was essentially the flagship title for Mein-MMO and is still one of the strongest MMO shooters. Destiny is an MMO shooter that offers diverse loot, countless weapons, and fantastic gunplay. It deserves its place at the top, and I am sure that most Destiny fans will also play its successor in the new year.

Staying with the old favorites?
2016 had a lot to offer, and many titles will likely still be played diligently next year. We are looking forward to a new gaming year!
Pokémon GO: Was it just a summer dream?
I am especially curious about how Pokémon GO will develop in 2017. I hope Niantic will incorporate a bit more gameplay next year. Battles against other trainers would be ideal for me.
The number of players has already dropped significantly since its release, but many still have a strong interest. Maybe Niantic or the community will come up with something special for 2017 to encourage more trainers to play. The Lapras event in the Fukushima region was indeed quite cool.
The Division: The fight for bare survival
The Division is another one of the big titles from 2016. Perhaps Division is your true love, and you never want to play anything else, no matter what 2017 has to offer? The agents seem to be quite nice and even give away coveted items.
The team at Mein-MMO will continue to play actively in 2017 and report on online gaming. For me, it means: Overwatch will probably be set aside a bit in 2017. Instead, I will dive into Paladins and report on it here at Mein-MMO. I will also remain true to my greatest love, Pokémon, in every form in 2017 – and probably for many, many more years.
