On Twitter, Capcom has commented on a release date for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne on Steam. The game will not be released for PC this year.
What did Capcom tweet? With less than a month remaining until the release of MHW: Iceborne on consoles on September 6, Capcom has now also announced an approximate release date for the Steam version.
Starting January 2020, PC players will be able to enjoy the new expansion. Although no exact date was provided, fans can at least look forward to early 2020.

Originally, a release was aimed for winter 2019, which has now only been missed by a month.
What’s new? At the Videogame Animation Festival in Hong Kong, the director of MHW, Kaname Fujioka, was asked about planned DLCs for Iceborne.

Although the developers have stated that the game “won’t take forever” and that updates will eventually cease, Iceborne will still receive several large free DLCs and new monsters over time, just as the main game did.
Fujioka has of course not revealed which monsters exactly will be included.
