Sakura from Street Fighter V is coming soon to Monster Hunter World and you will have to face the Pink Rathian. This is what is known so far about the quest.
In Monster Hunter World, hunters were already able to obtain a set of armor for Ryu, the protagonist of the Street Fighter series. This armor led to a pure Hadouken invasion and was only the first part of the Street Fighter crossover. It has already been announced that the character Sakura will also be available as armor at a later date. Now the date for Sakura’s quest and the first details are known.
Sakura comes with a triple quest on May 4
Sakura made her first appearance in Street Fighter Alpha 2. She is a Japanese girl who idolizes the experienced fighter Ryu. She has learned many techniques from him and wants to prove herself in the big, wide world. Sakura receives, just like Ryu, a complete armor set that you can only equip as a whole. You cannot equip individual parts like the head or shoes.
For Sakura, you have to complete a total of three quests, but all three have the same conditions and requirements.
What is known so far about the Sakura quests:
- Name: Empress in Full Bloom (I, II, and III)
- Level: 7 stars
- Location: Arena
- Requirement: Hunter Rank 12 or higher – This is how you increase your Hunter Rank
- Objective: Kill the Pink Rathian
- Date: May 4 – May 10
The Pink Rathian is a subspecies of Rathian, but has a more robust body and more health and attack power. She is more aggressive than the regular Rathian and possesses more attacks and movements. The Pink Rathian can move vertically and fires her fire attacks more frequently and quickly. As with the regular Rathian, hunters should also try to cut off the poisonous tail of the Pink Rathian as quickly as possible.
The Sakura quest “Empress in Full Bloom” starts on May 4 and ends on May 10. It starts when the Kulve Taroth quest disappears again from Monster Hunter World. You can find more details about the current siege quest of Kulve Taroth here:
