A new story trailer for the Iceborne expansion of Monster Hunter World is here. In it, you will see parts of the story from the icy Iceborne for the first time.
What can you see in the trailer? The trailer is full of monsters you will have to fight. For example, you can recognize a special form of Legiana that has never been seen before. More of the new area will also be shown.
Additionally, there are first glimpses into the story of Iceborne. The expansion will follow directly from the story of the normal Monster Hunter World. Protecting the natural ecosystem is once again at the forefront.

What is the story about? After an unusual encounter with Legiana in the Ancient Forest, the Commission now travels to the Frost Fields. This is said to be the largest map in the game.
In the trailer, you can see your new base called Seliana, which is being gradually built. There you will find plenty of useful resources. From there, you will start your missions.
Your task is still unknown. However, it seems that the monsters in the Frost Fields hide some secrets that you must solve.
What kind of monsters will there be? In previous trailers, new monsters were seen waiting for you. There will also be familiar creatures returning. The fan-favorite Tigrex is making a comeback.
Legiana, an ice monster, is particularly highlighted. A special song of Legiana is hinted at. There will be a new form of the monster, the screeching Legiana.
The monster Glavenus returns
This is how the trailer ends: There is also a small teaser at the end of the trailer. You can see fire and hear the roar of a monster that will provide an interesting contrast to the icy world.

When does Iceborne begin? The expansion can first be tested as a demo at E3. Monster Hunter World: Iceborne officially releases on September 6th. Then players can play on PS4 and Xbox One. PC players will have to wait a bit longer.
