A leak shows three new sets of Gamma equipment that will be available in the future in Monster Hunter World These are the Gamma sets from Xeno’Jiiva, Zorah Magdaros, and Lunastra.
The armors of the new battle-hardened monsters: At the Tokyo Game Show 2018, Capcom announced that battle-hardened Lunastra and Zorah Magdaros will be coming to the world of Monster Hunter World in October. The Lunastra event starts today, on October 4th, and there is still no release date for Zorah. Thanks to data miners, you can already check the status values of the corresponding Gamma armors.
Additionally, the leak revealed that players can soon expect a strong version of Xeno’Jiiva, as its Gamma set has also been discovered by data miners.
Gamma Armor of Lunastra
First reactions from the community: Initially, the Lunastra set left players rather cold. Players felt that their Alpha and Beta sets had better stats. Only the Gamma helm is considered suitable for players who prefer a sword and shield for a support build.
Gamma Armor of Xeno’Jiiva
First reactions from the community: The Xeno’Jiiva set has been received the best so far. Especially the pants with three sockets and critical hit ability have been praised by many. The set offers good combination possibilities with other Xeno armor pieces, especially for players who prefer bowguns.
Gamma Armor of Zorah Magdaros
First reactions from the community: Some players were rather disappointed with the Zorah Gamma set. Given that the Elder Dragon plays an important role in Monster Hunter World, its Gamma set turned out to be rather modest. The gloves and the belt are currently considered the two best pieces of the set, and players hope to get more out of them by combining with Alpha and Beta armors.
The Lunastra event will initially take place only on the PS4 and Xbox versions of Monster Hunter World. PC players will have to be patient for now.
In the meantime, PC fans can enjoy the autumn festival:
