On April 16, 2025, a new update with a hotfix for Monster Hunter Wilds was released. You can find out what’s included here.
When will the hotfix be released? The hotfix Patch Ver.1.010.01.00 went live on April 16, 2025, at 4:00 AM in Germany. It addresses several known issues and promises a quick solution.
Please note that all online sessions will be ended once patches are implemented. Therefore, it is best to always play offline around that time.

What’s included in the new hotfix Ver.1.010.01.00
The following issues are addressed with this hotfix:
- A problem where players are unable to search for SOS Flare quests of a certain difficulty level (★).
- Certain SOS Flare quests are displayed as “?????”, preventing players from joining the quest.
- A cutscene is not added to the gallery, even if the player has progressed far enough in the story to unlock it.
- The text for the cosmetic DLC pass is not displayed correctly in the “Request Content” menu at the support desk (Only PS5).
- Deleting widgets from the hunter profile may lead to display issues.
*This issue can be resolved by closing and reopening the “Edit Home Screen Widgets” screen.
The following issues are planned for the next patch:
- Exchanging items with Sekka through Nata in the village matchmaking menu causes the game to crash.
- Powercharm and Armorcharm are unintentionally added to the item bag when bringing these two items to an arena quest.
- The voice pitch of the hunter and Palico is not correctly represented in certain scenes (Only Xbox Series X|S).
- In some cases, players can bring their own weapons to arena quests and challenge quests.
- If the hunter is equipped with certain equipment, the game may crash at startup, e.g., when initializing the network.
- In some cases, players cannot repeat the assignment for Mizutsune.
- Certain gestures can lead to issues with the hunter’s movements/actions.
- The Palico does not ride on the Seikret in certain scenes, even though it should to advance the story.
Soon, the first major themed event will also be introduced in Monster Hunter Wilds.
