Lance Master is the newest class announced for the Korean MMORPG Lost Ark. It integrates into the ranks of damage dealers.
What is a Lance Master? The new class is a fast damage dealer whose skills are approximately melee to medium range.
Which specializations the Lance Master will have or whether it is a specialization of a base class is still unclear.
How does the Lance Master work? From the description and the video of the new class, it becomes clear that the Lance Master has two different stances.
- “Ambush” stance is more suitable for large groups of enemies and AOE attacks
- “Intensive” specializes in single enemies and deals high damage to them
Lance Master can switch between them relatively freely during combat and gains access to a set of red or blue skills that have different effects.
As is the case with the other classes in Lost Ark, the Lance Master has its own resource. It divides into “red” and “blue”, and is filled by using skills of the corresponding color.
The resource bar is divided into three segments. When switching stances in combat, the filled bars are consumed, and the Lance Master gains various buffs and advantages.

What about a release in Europe? While Lost Ark is continuously being supplied with more new content in Korea, gamers here in the West are left dry.
The announcement of Lost Ark in Russia made fans of the MMORPG hopeful, but nothing has happened there for a long time.
Although the developer Smile Gate has emphasized that they want to bring Lost Ark to the West in a “finished and polished state”, when that will happen is still unknown.
