An older streamer proudly presents her Minecraft game world. However, she also has some pretty sad stories to tell.
Minecraft excites players around the world and across all age groups. This attracted older players to Minecraft as well. Among them is the woman who is known as “Bacon_mom” on Twitch. With over 9,000 followers, she is more of a mid-sized streamer but has recently made waves. She showcased the game world she has built for 6 years.
What kind of world is this? The game world belongs to the streamer Bacon_mum. She “works” almost daily on her Minecraft world and has created a lot of artwork there.
Many people on Reddit are also impressed by the game world. People are excited that an older lady spends so much time on a game and apparently shows a lot of joy and creativity. For many, the structures built by the streamer remind them of mandalas and seem to have something meditative about them. There is a strong focus on symmetry and bright colors (for example, through colored wool blocks). Therefore, Bacon_mom’s world appears significantly more colorful than the average Minecraft world.
Bacon_mom plays in Creative Mode, by the way. There she can fly freely across the entire map and has infinite blocks of all types available. This is the mode where players can let their imaginations run wild and just build, without worrying about hunger or nasty Creepers.
There are also sad sides: However, not everything in Bacon_mom’s world is happy. On her tour through the game world, she also shows a monument that she claims to have built on “the worst day of her life.” Her only grandson was put up for adoption shortly after birth. The new family decided there should be no contact with the biological grandmother. Since then, she has not seen the child.
Despite some tragic stories, Bacon_mom’s constructions are quite impressive and are likely to overshadow much of what most of “us” can get out of Minecraft.
