Who we are looking for: You should be very familiar with gaming and know what players are really interested in. You have good knowledge in video editing and bring a sense of drama and creative imagery.

This is the job
You will be part of our editorial team and help expand our reporting by offering our own video formats on our website for the first time. It is important to us that readers come first for you and that you work with the editorial team to think about which video contributions are really interesting and important for our community.
The field of tasks
- you create short, web-optimized video stories in an efficient working manner in collaboration with the editorial team: Videos are a maximum length of 3 minutes, they have overlays with text passages, they do not need to be spoken over. A large portion of our users visit the website on mobile devices!
- potentially strong news or exclusive information should be implemented as video format within 24 hours if possible
- you will bring a part of our existing evergreens into a video format (e.g. ‘The most promising MMORPGs 2022’, ‘The biggest streamers on Twitch’, ‘These MMORPGs have the best housing’)
- you upload new trailers for our games in our CMS
- the videos are primarily created for the website Mein-MMO.de, but also partly for our social media Facebook and Instagram
- since video is a new format for us in this way, there may be experiments and we are open to your creative input

This is what we are looking for:
- you can handle video tools like Premiere Pro
- you have good knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
- you can independently create short story videos with subtitles and already have experience with content
- communities are important to you! You have a sense of storytelling in short videos and understand how to make others not only discover videos but also respond to them, find them interesting, and engage with the content
- you are gaming-friendly
- ideally, you have an interest in the topics we cover on Mein-MMO.de
- you move easily in social networks around gaming (reddit, forums, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok)
- you bring a good feel for language
- you are proficient in German and English in spoken and written form
Who we are
MeinMMO was founded in September 2013. Since March 2016, we have been part of Webedia Gaming.
By now, MeinMMO reaches over 3 million unique users per month. Thus, the site has established itself as the largest pure gaming website in Germany according to agof within a few years.
The focus of MeinMMO is on popular service games that are developed further for years and played online together. These include titles like Battlefield 2042, Call of Duty, World of Warcraft, New World, Pokémon GO, GTA Online, Fortnite, or FIFA.

When is the job? Immediately.
For how many hours is the job? At least 20 hours a week, with flexible working hours. More hours are optionally possible, but not less.
