Especially for gamers, the big gift-giving festival is always a great opportunity to fulfill one or the other wish, whether you are gifted by your loved ones or treating yourself.
Christmas is Hardware!
Many of you and I will surely get new hardware for Christmas. Last year I got a hefty new SSD, this year I’m probably treating myself to a matching new graphics card for my new monitor. Anyway, Christmas is the perfect time for expensive hardware gifts like hard drives, monitors, or graphics cards.
Of course, other accessories are also interesting, such as a comfortable gaming chair? Or maybe a new headset with great sound and top microphone? Or do you wish for hardware that is less related to gaming, such as a tablet or a new keyboard? Or would you prefer a Playstation 4 Pro or the PS-VR headset instead?
Games Galore!
Every gamer loves games, especially at Christmas. So, you can never go wrong by gifting us gamers games, provided we don’t already have the respective game in our Steam library or on our consoles. But even for titles we already own, there are usually one or two DLC packs that we might not want to buy for ourselves but would gladly accept as a gift. Steam gift codes make it possible!
Anyone who has a console or just loves tangible items will surely also be excited about festively wrapped DVD cases with the games of their choice. Then it won’t look so bare under the tree if there are only wrapped gift codes lying around.
Something Completely Different
Many gamers love analog games alongside computer games, such as board games, tabletops, or pen-and-paper role-playing games. All these things make wonderful Christmas gifts and make every fan’s heart race. Recently released and well-crafted board games based on games like League of Legends or The Witcher 3 are surprisingly fun.
The best part: You might get to play the game during the Christmas holidays with friends and family. Christmas is, after all, a celebration of community, and where better to celebrate than at a game night? So, those who love board games and tabletops will surely be happy about such gifts for Christmas.
