In the game Mecha Break, everything revolves around mechs that fight against each other in battles with up to 60 players. The game is set to be released soon on Steam.
What kind of game is this? The game Mecha Break is a multiplayer shooter where you control a mech, a large battle robot on two legs, on a battlefield.
Together with other players, the mechs are supposed to complement each other and form a team to win the battles. There are various different mechs to choose from, differing in weaponry, armor, and mobility.
The mechs are divided into various classes that should give the player a rough idea of what the class is for. Among others, there are healers, snipers, defenders, attackers, and brawlers. Mecha Break resembles Overwatch in terms of the team aspect of the shooter.
But alongside the normal team mode in 3 vs. 3 and 6 vs. 6, there will soon also be a mode featuring 60 mechs that is reminiscent of Escape from Tarkov.

New mode brings mechs in an extraction shooter
What is this new mode? In an interview with PCGamer, the CEO of Amazing Seasun, Kris Kwok, revealed more about another game mode.
The new 60-player mode is supposed to be a battle royale where the zone gets smaller all the time. However, players should also have the option to leave the arena early through exits. Kwok presented this option as an opportunity for players to engage with the mode with less pressure and competition.
The new mode is supposed to include not just pure PvP but also NPCs and offer boss fights. What the mode will actually look like will probably only be revealed at the weekend, as that is when the closed beta of the game takes place.
However, registration for the beta is no longer possible. The release date of the game is also not known precisely. On Steam, there is only the note: “Upcoming announcement”.
