Today, June 11, the Alpha of Lost Ark begins. However, the launch is not going smoothly. Currently, there are server issues. We at MeinMMO will keep you updated.
Update 07:55 AM: The servers are now active and you can play Lost Ark. At 2:20 AM, the Lost Ark team joked on Twitter that they had upgraded hamsters to guinea pigs. At the same time, they announced that the servers would go live at 03:00 AM German time.
At 03:04 AM, it was confirmed that the servers are online and wished the players a lot of fun.
Remember that the Alpha is under NDA. Recording, streaming, or publicly discussing the contents of the Alpha is not allowed.
Update 1:50 AM: In a new Steam post, the developers emphasize that they are working on resolving the issue. There will not be another update until the problem is fixed. We are also going to bed now. A colleague will take over the ticker by 9:00 AM at the latest.
Update 1:42 AM: So far, there is no update from Amazon.
Update 1:32 AM: At least you can read the server name now. However, it currently says “Maintenance”.
Update 1:04 AM: We’ll take the update at 1:30 AM, and then we will keep the ticker closed until tomorrow morning.
Update 0:35 AM: According to Steam, work is still ongoing on the server issues. The next update is expected around 1:30 AM.

Update 0:04 AM: It has been announced in the Alpha forum that the next update is expected at 0:30 AM. If anything else happens, you will learn about it here in the ticker.
Update 23:41 PM: A total of more than 2.5 hours have passed since the planned start of the Alpha. So far, there are no hints as to when it will actually start. The servers have not been online for even a second. The next update is expected around 0:10 AM.

Update 21:27 PM: On Steam, it is stated that a statement regarding the delay in the start will be shared every 30 minutes. This should happen in a few minutes.
Update 21:14 PM: Although the game is now starting, no server is available to choose from. The latest tweet states that a rough time estimate will come as soon as possible.
Update 21:05 PM: In a new tweet, it is stated that work is being done on the problems (via Twitter). Updates will be shared on Twitter, among other things.
Update 21:01 PM: The developers of Lost Ark have reported on Twitter that there are technical issues and the start of the Alpha is delayed. It is not known when exactly it will start. Currently, not even the actual game can be started.
What is this Alpha? Today, June 11 at 9:00 PM, the first alpha test of Lost Ark starts. The alpha runs until June 15.
In the alpha test, players will be able to play all 15 starting classes of the European version and try out their skills. Keep in mind that this is a technical alpha. It is mainly testing the server infrastructure and stability. So expect that some areas are not yet fully localized or may contain bugs.
The alpha will have German texts. However, synchronization will only be in English. Additionally, the alpha test will be under NDA (Nondisclosure Agreement). You are allowed to play Lost Ark, but not to talk about it, share screenshots, stream, etc.
