Cho ‘BeryL’ Geon-hee is the support for the Korean League of Legends team DAMWON Gaming. They won the Worlds 2020 over the weekend. BeryL then turned to another game and immediately spent 7,000 dollars on it.
What’s going on? In recent weeks, the 2020 World Championship in LoL took place. One of the favorite teams was DAMWON Gaming. In the semifinals, they already eliminated the European hope G2 Esports with 3 to 1.
In the final on October 31st, they faced the Chinese team Suning. Although the matches were a bit closer, DAMWON also managed to win here with 3 to 1 and deservedly became world champions.
How did BeryL celebrate the title? The support of DAMWON Gaming celebrated this success in his own way. As a tweet from @hkbr9, a Korean LoL player, shows, BeryL invested 7.7 million Korean Won (about 6,880 dollars) in the role-playing game Genshin Impact shortly after the victory at the Worlds.
