In League of Legends, music plays a big role. Riot teased on Twitter that a boy band could be coming. MeinMMO reveals what’s behind it.
The music in League of Legends has become incredibly important for the game and the player base. The connection between music and LoL delights the community, whether through LoL bands like K/DA and True Damage or through world anthems like “Legends Never Die” (2017) and “Rise” (2018). This is reflected not only in the music but also in the corresponding skins.
The appreciation for these music projects goes beyond the game. A notable example is the music video Pop/Stars
by K/DA featuring Madison Beer, which has garnered over 568 million views on YouTube .
However, while they have already presented a K-Pop girl band in the form of K/DA to the LoL community, there has been a lack of a band consisting only of male champions. It seems you won’t have to wait much longer. Riot teased a boy band in a recent Twitter post.
Here you can see the Twitter post by Riot:
Which champions belong to the boy band? Although Riot Games hasn’t officially announced anything yet, the teaser hints at which champions could receive a skin and become a member of the boy band.
In the notebook, you can see some crucial hints. It shows six enthusiastic male characters. On a Post-It, it says: wants to be a star, rockstar
, with rockstar circled again with a pen. Also, the keyboard and the mug give hints about Aphelios, if you look closely.
Furthermore, SkinSpotlights has already written on Twitter which champions will be included and which prestige and legendary skins they could receive, including:
- Kayn with a legendary skin
- Yone (prestige)
- Ezreal
- Sett
- K’Sante
- Aphelios
Everything points to the fact that there could be one or more songs from the boy band – just as it was with K/DA and True Damage. However, it is still unknown which musicians Riot would collaborate with.
For the new Worlds anthem Gods
, Riot collaborated with the K-Pop band NewJeans
, here you can see the video:

- Hibahria writes (via Twitter):
Sett, Ksante, Aphelios. I can’t recognize the others though. As a rock band would be really cool.
- TeamXDynasty emphasizes:
I can’t wait to see the champions and can’t wait to see who will voice the boy band!
- sorrowtalks expresses anticipation:
This feels so surreal??? I can’t believe it.
- There are also critical voices. The user Ezraneth thinks (via Twitter):
Please replace K’Sante with someone else, anyone, and yes, even Teemo would be better.
While Riot Games has not yet released any official confirmation, the teaser suggests that the boy band skins and the associated music will be an exciting and unforgettable addition to League of Legends.
What do you think of a boy band in LoL? How do you feel about the line-up? Would you like to see other champions in the band? Feel free to let us know in the comments.
