T1 is performing really well in this year’s Worlds. This coming Sunday, they and Faker have the chance to achieve their 4th World Championship victory. If Faker wins, many fans hope for an honor in the form of a legendary skin in League of Legends.
Faker is probably the most famous LoL player. The Korean has earned two MSI titles and 3 Worlds titles for his team in his career. He is considered so iconic and skilled that he is also known as Unkillable Demon King
.
Before the Worlds, his health and the team’s performance looked grim. However, during the Worlds, T1 fought its way to the finals confidently and successfully. If Faker is victorious here again, fans desire a very special honor for the LoL icon.
The community hopes for an honor if Faker wins
On reddit, many users discuss how to best honor Faker. A legendary skin would stand out from the regular Worlds skins, and fans have the perfect champion for it: Azir, the champion he also played in the spectacular semifinals.

It should be an Azir skin, fitting for a king. The sand soldiers should be random teammates from his career.
But there is also a desire for an entire skin line around the theme Demon King
. However, Riot always has the rule, at least for the skins of the winning teams, that the champion must have been played in a match. Azir would still fit.
A very great honor would be seen in a champion developed specifically for him.

If Faker wins, then there will be a new champion.
Under this comment, there is even a discussion about making this champion relevant in the Runeterra world. This would, of course, be an unprecedented honor, for which Faker would be the most likely candidate.
Many users warn, however, against getting too excited too soon. Even last year, T1 and Faker had the chance to win the finals, but they failed.
